The corpus Christi rally of the Rawatawatte Parish was held. Parishioners of Rawatawatte, Lunawa, Angulana and Soysapura took part in the rally which started from the humble church of St. Anthony's Soysapura and proceeded along the Galle Road. Rev. Fr. Prasanna Fernando (Former Assistant Parish Priest) accompanied the monstrance on the chariot.

The procession which was the longest in the Parish history spread the length from the Big City Moratuwa to the junction of Soysapura. Finally the procession reached the Queen of Angels' Church. Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament was done there after by Rev. Fr. Prasanna Fernando who was also the chief celebrant of the mass together with the Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Tyronne Perera.
