Easter Sunday service was conducted at the Katubedda Queen Of Angels' Church by Rev. Fr. Tyronne Perera. After mass, large number of devotees took the streets in the traditional procession with the Risen Lord statue. The procession went around the Rawatawatte "Boo Tree" and then around to the Katubedda Junction. After returning to the church Rev. Fr. Tyronne Perera gave the final blessing from the Risen Lord statue amidst flower garlands.
