The Flag staff of the Queen of Angels' Church at Rawatawatte was hoisted after the blessings and prayers of the Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Shamira Cooray and Assistant Priest Rev. Fr. Kasun Fernando. It symbolizes the upcoming 51st Feast of the Church. The 1st Novena was held with the presence of Rev. Fr. Jayantha Fernando who preached the Word of God in spectacular illumination.
