The Parishioners of the Rawatawatte Queen Of Angels' Church celebrated the 15th Ordination Anniversary of Rev. Fr. Tyronne Perera a cake was also cut in celebration.

A special presentation on 50th Jubilee project to renovate the main church was bought to the crowd at the end of the mass. Rev. Fr. Tyronne Perera (Parish Priest) together with Rev. Fr. Prasanna Fernando (Assistant Parish Priest) requested the opinion of the people in a vote.

"I do not want to do this and become a burden to the people or this town, you'll as a congregation must decide to whether we are to do it or not. You must give your support to do this. I don't want to be the person to display half built church in-front this Galle road." - Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Tyronne Perera.

The Parish Priest's brother who is abroad made the first donation to the project saying "Brother, I will give you my support for our parents". Few other societies and individuals also donated for the project.

The same presentation was shown at the 12.00NOON English mass and 6.00PM Sinhala Mass.
