The Vespers service was conducted at the Queen Of Angels' Church - Rawatawatte. The chief celebrant was Very. Rev. Fr. Elmo Dias. The Jubilee Year of the Parish was also declared at the occasion in traditional style.

After receiving blessings from the Blessed Sacrament the Parishioners went on procession around the town of Rawatawatte. The roads the procession took were decorated by the Parishioners and also statues kept on road sides decorated. After the procession returned to the church the final blessing was given amongst fireworks and church bells.
