The Elders day of the Moratuwa District was held, the event was lead by Rev. Fr. Lalith and organized by the St. Vincent De Paul society of the Lunawa Ss. Peter and Paul's Church. A large number of elders from all over Moratuwa participated in this generous event. The participants enjoyed the day singing and dancing, taking their hearts and minds to the onceYouthful age. Rev. Fr. Prasanna Fernando (Assistant Parish Priest) conducted the 12PM mass for the participants and afterwards the participants were given a healthy lunch. A presentation on the History of the Lunawa church was also shown. The event concluded with a variety entertainment show.
