The festive high mass of the Dandeniwate St. Anthony's wayside shrine was conducted by the Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Tyronne Perera. The incumbent of the Buddhist temple was also present at the occasion. After mass devotees which consisted of many from throughout the parish took the streets of Dandeniwatte with the St. Anthony's statue and afterwords the final blessing was given.
