The festive high mass of the Queen of Angels' Church was held. The chief celebrant was our former Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Shamira Nirosh Cooray. Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Sunil Kumara Peiris and his Assistant Rev. Fr. Dilran Peiris concelebrated. Many Priests and religious were present at the occasion.

After mass the devotees traveled in procession together with statue of the Queen of Angels' that took them around and along the borders of the Parish. Many Catholic and non-Catholic welcomed the statue along the path. The two new Church bands established under the guidance of the Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Sunil Kumara Peiris participated in their maiden procession of the Church.

After returning to church, the final blessing was given by Rev. Fr. Sunil Kumara Peiris.
