The festive high mass of the Our Lady of Holy Rosary wayside shrine was presided by the Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Shamira Cooray. Large number of area devotees as well as parishioners were also present.

After mass the devotees took an historic step and conducted the first procession around the Rotarypura area through streets which were decorated by the residents. The final blessing was given by the Parish Priest after the returning to the shrine premises. A blessed treat was given to the present in tradition.
