16th Year Festive High Mass of the Siribaramanikepura wayside shrine was conducted by the Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Tyronne Perera admidst heavy down pour. After the festive mass the congregation of devotees in a historic move held the first procession of the shrine in its history of 16 years.

After the procession returned to the church Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Tyronne Perera blessed the congregation. Presence of objection to the procession by a few area residents was seen in this majority Buddhist area.
