After the festive high mass, the devotees embarked on the procession that took them around the Soysapura area with the blessed statue St. Anthony's. Streets were filled with area residents who decorated the streets and displayed statues of St. Anthony receive his blessings.

After returning to the church Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Christo Viraj Fernando gave out the final blessing together with Rev. Fr. Gihan Gunathilaka and Assistant Priest Rev. Fr. Kasun Fernando. Rev. Fr. Tyronne Perera also made a surprise visit to church.
