The New Year Midnight masses were conducted throughout the parish. Rev. Fr. Prasanna Fernando (Assistant Parish Pirest) conducted the mass at Rawatawatte while Rev. Fr. Milanga conducted the mass at Soysapura. Rev. Fr. Neil conducted the mass at Lunawa and Rev. Fr. Gihan conducted the mass at Angulana. All masses were simultaneously conducted at 12.00AM - 1st of January 2012 after the traditional "Kiri ethiri wima". Large number of devotees were present at all churches.
