Various societies of the Queen Of Angels' Church Rawatawatte organized the Awurudu Fair in order to raise funds for the upcoming Jubilee of the church. The Fair comprised of many stalls and entertainment activities to make a the make the visitors obtain a fun filled day. Thousands of people flowed into the church grounds to witness and experience this great event at Rawatawatte.

The event kicked off with Prayers to the Blessed Mother and lighting the oil lamp thereafter, with the participation and ever supportive guidance of the Parish Priests Rev. Fr. Tyronne Perera and Rev. Fr. Prasanna Fernando.
