During his prison period Gen. Sarath Fonseka's wife appealed to Mother Mary for his release, in fulfillment of this, she together with former Army commander was present for the Thanks giving Prayer Service at the Queen Of Angels' Church.

A large gathering was present at the church to participate in the Thanks Giving Prayer Service for the General.

"Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in Heaven." - Matthew 7:7
