Shelter for Glory - A Sing-a-long organized by the Queen of Angels' Church was unveiled at the Ranmal Hotel with guidance of Rev. Fr. Sunil Kumara Peiris (now Parish Priest), several distinguished guests including the pioneer of the event Rev. Fr. Shamira Nirosh Cooray (former Parish Priest), Rev. Fr. Dilran Peiris (now Assistant to the Parish Priest), Rev. Fr. Christo Viraj Fernando (former Parish Priest), Rev. Fr. Tyronne Perera (former Parish Priest) and Rev. Fr. Agith Ruwan Perera (OMI) together with several reverend sisters were present at the occasion.

The project hopes to raise the funds required for the renovation of the roof and ceiling of the church. Artists Annesley Malewana, and guest artist Mariazelle Goonetilleke concluded a beautiful performance
