The legal deeds for the Soysapura St. Anthony's Church has been handed over to the Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Tyronne Perera. This issue was addressed by the Housing and Public Facilities Ministry and was handed over by Hon. Minister Vimal Weeravansha on the 30th of September 2011.

Many long term issues will be resolved with this action. We must thank our Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Tyronne Perera, and Assistant Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Prasanna Fernando for their determination in proceeding with this action despite various objections and other forces. Today the St. Anthony's Church is a legally situated church for the devotees of Soysapura and will last for generations to come.

The Parish Priests would also like you extend their gratitude to His Eminence, Mr. Bertrum Fernando, Mr. and Mrs. Duglas Cooray, Mrs. Senaviratna, Mr. Suresh (M. M. C. Candidate).
