Vespers service at the Ss. Peter & Paul's Church was held with the participation of a large amount of devotees. After the service the devotees took the streets in procession with the statue which took them all over the Lunawa area. The Parish Priest was present and took part in the procession despite his health condition. Rev. Fr. Prasanna Wasantha (Assistant Parish Priest) organized the event. Number of games as well as a food stall and DJ night was organized for the parishioners who returned to the church in procession.

Rev. Fr. Tyronne, Rev. Fr. Prasanna, Rev. Fr. Christopher, Rev. Fr. Felix, Rev. Fr. Gronny, Rev. Fr. Karunarathna, Butrum Thirimanna (OMI), Rev. Fr. Filishian Ferdinandez (Chief Celebrant, OMI), Rev. Fr. Chrisanthas and Rev. Fr. Ronny were present at the occasion.
